Vice President/President Elect
Assist, coordinate and organize committees. Brainstorm new ways to build our PTSA at LSHS. Prepare to serve as president in future school years. Attend and lead in the absence of the president. Attend monthly board meetings and other meetings as necessary.
Legislative Chairperson
Follow the MO PTA and National PTA legislative news and signup for updates through JC/DC. Report any legislative updates to our members. Send updates about Legislative Action via email to our membership. Communicate reports monthly at the board meetings. Attend monthly board meetings
Project Graduation Chairperson
Coordinates and implements the annual Project Grad event with the Senior Class Sponsors. Secures sites, conduct fundraisers, plans for food, activities, and prizes. Recruits parent volunteers, publicizes event, and coordinates other Senior Activities events (Senior Yard Signs, Alumni T-shirts, Senior vs Staff Basketball Game. Attend meetings regarding Project Graduation.
Student Liaisons (unlimited number)
Represent the students of LSHS. Encourage other students to get involved with PTSA events like the Senior v. Staff Basketball games, Fireworks Tent, and Project Graduation. Give suggestions of new ways PTSA can support LSHS students.
Teacher Liaison(1-2)
Represent the teachers of LSHS. Encourage other teachers to get involved with PTSA events. Report to the teachers information and receive feedback from teachers. Give suggestions of new ways PTSA can support LSHS teachers in supporting our students.
